W3C Day Spain on Open Data

The W3C is an international community that develops standards to ensure the long-term growth of the Web. The W3C in Spain will be hosting the 'W3C Spain Day' on November 25th in the city Zaragoza. Organizing partners are W3C, CTIC and the city of Zaragoza. Zaragoza is one of the places where together with CTIC work is being done on a local open government data catalogue.
The event is titled "Integración y Open Data" (Integration and open data).
"The conference this year is titled Integration and Open Data and will present current issues around standards, fundamental to the growth and evolution of the Web. W3C Day in Spain 2010 is divided into sessions geared to the implementation of standards in the world of business, public administration, and research.
Through a series of presentations made by relevant organizations nationally and internationally, a forum for exchange of views is created between the public and presenters for two sessions: Information Integration and Reuse in Public Administration and Web Standards in industry."

El Día del W3C en España 2010 está estructurado en dos sesiones orientadas a la aplicación de estándares en el mundo de la empresa, la administración pública, y de la investigación.
A través de una serie de presentaciones llevadas a cabo por relevantes organizaciones a nivel nacional e internacional, se creará un foro de intercambio de opiniones entre público y ponentes, durante dos sesiones temáticas: Integración y Reutilización de Información en las Administraciones Públicas y Los estándares Web en la industria.")
Attending the event is free, but registration is needed due to a limited number of seats.
