UK Ordnance Survey Newsletter

OS Insider is a new newsletter highlighting some of the projects currently being worked on at the UK Ordnance Survey. Available on the Ordnance Survey blog, it is aimed at keeping the public informed about what is happening inside Great Britain’s national mapping agency.

The first edition of OS Insider focuses on some of the innovative uses of Ordnance Survey data, including through OS OpenData, OS OpenSpace and the GeoVation awards programme. For instance five mash-ups are presented that are based on OS data. However, OS Insider is not just a reflection of Ordnance Survey news – ideas for future topics can be emailed to the editor as well.

The first edition of the newsletter is available for download in PDF. Judging by the release data on the newsletter 'Summer 2010' this will be a quarterly issue. News can also be followed on the OS weblog, that was launched in April 2010.
