UK: Local Govt. adopts Open Government Licence
Kew: 3 February 2011
The National Archives (TNA) PerSpectIves blog has published an information topic titled: Uptake of the Open Government Licence by local authorities. The announcement states:
“Of the 293 councils which published spending data by the end of January 2011 deadline, 141 had released their data under the Open Government Licence. The National Archives welcomes the widespread use of the Open Government Licence for the re-use of spending data and is further encouraged by the increasing numbers of local authorities which are making additional data available for re-use.”
