UK Government responds to PoI!
The UK Government published a response to the Power of Information (PoI) report. The Minister for Digital Engagement Tom Watson MP in the executive summary of the report titled: Digital Engagement: Update on Power of Information states:
“The Power of Information principles are no longer just recommendations in a report but will be core to the future development and implementation of government policy.”
The report groups the Government responses to the Power of information report under the following headings:
- Open information
- Open feedback
- Open conversation
- Open innovation
Annex A (pages 20 to 32) of the report lists the Power of Information report recommendations in numerical order together with the detail of the Government response to each recommendation. In summary:
