The city of Stockholm has created a (RESTful) API to information on public services and public facilities in the city. In a posting on the development blog of Stockholm's website (regularly covering new e-gov services) the new API is announced, which is available at api.stockholm.se. Those wanting to use the API need to apply for an API key by filling out the form on that URL.

The API has been tested with the mobile app 'Experience Stockholm' which is available for iPhone and Android platforms.

The data currently available through the API is seen as a starting place. Feedback is welcomed to help shape the API's extension and future.
