About the Author
Kristina Kotnik Šumah is Deputy Information Commissioner of Slovenia since October 2008. She graduated at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana in 2002. Later the same year she began working for the Government Office for European Affairs, where she mainly practiced labour, administrative and public procurement law. She passed the legal state examination in 2008. She continues her education with post-graduate studies in administrative law at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. She joined the Slovenian Information Commission in May 2006.
