Report of Public Hearing on Scientific Information

On May 30th a public hearing took place at the European Commission in Luxembourg on the access to and preservation of Scientific Information. The minutes and presentations have now been published:

The hearing will contribute towards the preparation of the Communication and Recommendation on access to and reservation of digital scientific information the European Commission intends to adopt in 2011.

The hearing was organised in three panels:

  • PANEL 1 - Research evaluation systems
  • PANEL 2 - Preservation of scientific outputs
  • PANEL 3 - Access to scientific information (including Open Access)
