Raising PSI re-use awareness in Poland!
Law and the Internet (VaGla) has published on the 18th December 2009 an article titled: Nawoływanie do przejęcia państwa na Auli (video) that refers to a meeting organised by Aula Poland - a not for profit initiative that was launched in 2007 to raise awareness on technology related projects as a result of organising meetings. The meeting took place in Warsaw on the 17th December 2009 and the presentations have been published.
Aula Poland description of the event states:
“Last year, forty-four Hall of Poland, was unique in several respects. Among the five subjects that were touched upon matters of content: the commercial exploitation of content and use of information from the public sector. On the other hand, fell a list of mistakes made by online stores and sincere request to direct a huge project as it was playing The Witcher. Hall 44 was much longer, more abundant and presentations.”
The Law and the Internet article includes Piotr Waglowsk’s video (Polish language) that considers public sector information re-use in Poland and the relation to the INSPIRE Directive. The presentation runs for 26 minutes followed by a 14 minutes question and answer session. The presentation makes reference to the European Commission PSI Portal and the European Public Sector Information Platform.
