The European Commission led PSI Group agreed to establish a number of working groups to support the Commissions initiatives during 2010 as outlined in the European Commission’s Communication published in May 2009.

The leaders of the working group are:

Mr Rene Hoenson, The Economic Interest Grouping of the National Meteorological Services of the European Economic Area (ECOMET)

Dr. Richard Pettifer , The Association of Private Meteorological Services (PRIMET)

The Meteorological Information working group was operational from the 5th April 2010 through to the 7th May 2010.
