The panel members for the public sector information re-use panel at FICOD 2009 have been announced. FICOD 2009 will take place in Madrid from the 17th to 19th November 2009.

La reutilización de la información del sector público puede facilitar la creación por parte del sector privado de nuevos productos y servicios basados en dicha información. Tenemos ejemplos de éxito en nuestro país, pero es igualmente importante ver los casos que se han desarrollado en el ámbito internacional. En la Unión Europea, el mercado de reutilización está estimado entre 26 y 47 millones de euros, dando idea de la relevancia económica de la Información del Sector Público.

Open-government: creating value through the reuse of public sector information
The reuse of public sector information can facilitate the creation by the private sector of new products and services based on such information. We have examples of success in our country, but it is equally important to look at cases that have been developed internationally. In the European Union, the market for reuse is estimated between 26 and 47 million Euros, that provides an idea of the economic importance of Public Sector Information.
