The Forum is a good opportunity to share your views on the main subjects that will be discussed in the meeting and exchange your views on PSI re-use with other meeting participants.

Proyecto Aporta has published a blog topic explaining about the Forum (English translation below) (Spanish Text online).

Project Aporta opened on Thursday, 27 May 2010 a forum on their website dedicated to the PSI Meeting 2010, “Realising the Value of Public Sector Information.”

The Forum is space is for participation. It is a zone for the exchange of ideas and thoughts between citizens, professionals, businesses and institutions on meeting topics. Its aim is thus to promote during the period before the meeting on the 9th June 2010, debate and discussions related to the agenda issues that will be analysed during the Madrid meeting.

The Forum is structured around categories corresponding to the four meeting roundtable threads, in English and Spanish, and are as follows.

1. European strategies on the Information Society (Good practices to tap the economic potential of the re-use of public sector information)
2. New business models and innovative services
3. The economic potential of the re-use of public sector information
4. The social value of the re-use of public sector information

PSI Forum Meeting The 2010 is aimed, in this sense, to generate reflection and to anticipate the main points of discussion on the 9th June identifying proposals, needs or concerns that might otherwise receive less attention than necessary.

It is also a good opportunity to point out possible lines of work and do it in direct conversation with the speakers, moderators and listed on the meeting, also involving other actors in the field of re-using open government data.

We invite you to participate in the Forum with your ideas and proposals.

You can register as a user of the forum and create your own Forum topics in addition to participating on the PSI Meeting 2010 Forum.
