PRIMET participates!
The programme booklet (88 pages) for the 9th EMS Annual Meeting & 9th ECAM: Applications of Meteorology has been published. The theme of the meetings is: High resolution meteorology – applications and services. The event will open on 28 September 2009 with welcome speeches to be made by:
- Fritz Neuwirth, EMS President
- Francois Jacq, President Director General Météo-France
- Jean Jouzel, President SMF
- Pirkko Saarikivi, PRIMET Board
- Ben Dieterink, HMEI Council
The programme includes presentations from both the demand side (private sector) and the supply side (the public sector).
The European Meteorological Society ( EMS ) during June 2009 published the Annual report for 2008 that will be submitted to the 11th EMS General Assembly 2009. The membership of EMS includes both public sector information holders and private sector re-users of meteorological data and information amongst others.
