Poland’s legislative program
The European Commission on the 25th June 2009 announced that Poland has still not taken sufficient action to transpose and implement the European Union Directive 2003/98/EC (Dyrektywa 2003/98/WE) on the re-use of public sector information .
The Polish Governments legislative program published during January 2009 includes a project to respond to the European Commission initial infringement action.

The Pozarządowe Centrum Dostępu do Informacji Publicznej ( DIP )(Non-governmental Centre for Access to Public Information) in Warsaw publishes regular news and article related to the effectiveness of the Access Law.
During April 2009 DIP published an article that provides a summary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administrations actions since October 2008 when the European Commission placed Poland on notice regarding possible infringement actions for not transposing and implementing the PSI re-use Directive correctly.
