PoI: Pushing at the boundaries

The Australian Access to and use of Public Sector Information (auPSI) portal has announced the publication of a video on the UK Power of Information that was pre- recorded and presented by Richard Allen to the Spatially Enabled Government Summit 2009: Mapping the Future of Interoperability, Data Collection & Data Management for Operational Excellence within Australian Government, that took place from the 24 to 27 August 2009 in Canberra.
The video (runs for approximately 23 minutes) provides a summary of the UK Power of Information initiative and how the outcome has been taken forward within the UK. A number of the points raised during the presentation have subsequently run into the buffers! The boundaries were indeed pushed and tested and the policies were shown to be wanting attention!
