OurProperty.co.uk is a free information resource that provides the public with the sale price of any property bought and sold in England and Wales since 2000. and Scotland since 1998. The data used is from the official Land Registry, the official government agency who deal with all property transactions and ownership in the England and Wales and the ROS - the official Registry of Scotland.
The OurProperty.co.uk search facility covers the whole of England, Scotland and Wales. The data for England and Wales covers residential sales back to 1st January 1995 and for Scotland residential, commercial and land back to at least 1999.
Visitors can keep up to date with sales in their local area by using the monthly sales alert feature. This allows monitoring of up to 10 postcodes. Each time the site receives updates from the Land Registry and the Registers of Scotland (usually once a month) an email notification is sent showing sales added to the database within 500 metres of your home post code and each post code being monitoring.
The website is free to use and has over 250,000 registered who are permitted to make up to 500 searches a week from the 17.5 million total number of sales in the database.
