The Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) has published the minutes of the Licensing Forum meeting held at the Environment Agency in Bristol on the 10th September 2007.

The topics considered at the meeting included:

• The INSPIRE Directive 2007/2/EC
• Trade Marks – Theory and Practice
• The Power of information Review
• Office of Fair Trading CUPI Report Update

The question and answers recorded within the minutes reveal that:

• The European Commission has a 32 person team investigating the pricing implications of INSPIRE.
• Research on charging is currently underway in a government-sponsored study and the findings are due in November 2007. HM Treasury are to present the findings at the Next Licensing Forum meeting scheduled for January 2008.
