Open Days 2011: Registration now open!

OPEN DAYS is the annual key event for EU, national, regional and local authorities to showcase and discuss EU cohesion policy’s management, results and prospects.

The theme of years event is "Investing in Europe’s future: Regions and cities delivering smart, sustainable and inclusive growth". OPEN DAYS 2011 will consist of about 100 sessions - workshops and debates – exhibitions and networking opportunities for the about 6,000 participants coming to Brussels. OPEN DAYS is conceived and developed by the EU Committee of the Regions and the European Commission, Directorate-General for Regional Policy and is organised in partnership with regions and cities from all over Europe, and including contributions by companies, financial institutions and international associations and academic organisations.

OPEN DAYS 2011 will take place between 10 and 13 October 2011 in Brussels. The OPEN DAYS 2011 Programme can be downloaded here. Participation in the OPEN DAYS is free of charge. Online registration is opened until 28 September 2011.

Last year's focus was "Europe 2020: Competitiveness, co-operation and cohesion for all regions".
