Next Version of Danish Data Catalogue In The Making
Copenhagen, 29 October 2010
In a Twitter message, Danish ITST's Cathrine Lippert announced a new version of the Danish government data catalogue is in the making. As the Open Knowledge Foundation is building a list of European government data catalogue initiatives, and was asking around on Twitter whether anybody had any information about new developments, Cathrine Lippert responded. She is with the ITST, part of the Danish Ministry of Science, which is the leading office for all open government data initiatives in Denmark.
The new version will be, like the first list of data sources published in Denmark, part of the digitaliser.dk collaborative platform, where citizens and government bodies interact around themes connected to digitalization.
At the digitaliser.dk platform there was posted a message yesterday that they are busy rebuilding the site for a better user experience but also to include the new data catalogue. Part of the changes is also the appointment of a community manager, Michelle Bea Lund.
It seems the digitaliser.dk is on the verge of building renewed momentum and energy for PSI re-use!
