MEP’s consider PSI pricing!

The European Association of Private Meteorological Services (PRIMET) has reported that PRIMET and the PSI Alliance have held meetings with members of the European Parliament (MEP’s) regarding the re-use of public sector information.

The PRIMET announcement states:

“At a meeting held in the European Parliament on 2nd February 2010 and arranged through the PSI Alliance, PRIMET had the chance to brief several MEPs on the issues surrounding the re-use of meteorological data, including the competition issues with NMHSs and the data pricing issues.”
