The European Commission has reported that Liechtenstein has notified transposition of the Directive 2003/98/EC via Law number 172.016.

On the 28 July 2008 the Liechtenstein Landesgesetzblätter published Gesetz vom 29. Mai 2008 über die Weiterverwendung von Informationen öffentlicher Stellen (Informationsweiterverwendungsgesetz; IWG) (Law of 29. May 2008 over the further use of Information of public places (Information further use law; IWG)).

The number of European Economic Area (EEA) and the European Free Trade Area (EFTA) Member States that have transposed the European Union Directive reaches two – Iceland and Liechtenstein with Norway and Switzerland yet to complete!
