Commitment to maximise aid transparency.

Late October the Italian parliament passed a bill which includes a commitment to maximise aid transparency, following IATI standards, resources permitting.

Publish What You Fund, a NGO striving for more aid transparency welcomes the step, but at the same time call upon the Italian government to back up this commitment by becoming a co-signatory of the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI).
