FOD almost 3!
The UK Guardian newspaper Free Our Data campaign will be three years old next week. The FOD campaign is an excellent case study on how to raise the awareness amongst all parts of society about the value of public sector information to democracy, the economy and the general growth of the Information age.
During November 2008 the lead independent journalist Michael Cross that has produced the majority of the weekly articles that appear in the Guardian newspaper Technical supplement every Thursday took part in an event in a similar movement within the Hellenic Republic (Greece). The video is online and last for approximately 35 minutes – equally divided between the talk and the discussion that followed.
