The Norwegian government initiative for open government data, data.norge.no reports on the first application that has been build with data about sports facilities, which was opened up earlier this year in August. Earlier already an experimental website making that data searchable had been created, but now a first full-blown application is available. The company Dinimo, a builder of mobile applications, launched Norsk idrett, which allows you to find sports facilities near your current or any other location. It is also possible to correct the location of a facility should the pin point on the map not be correct. The application is available for free from the Norwegian app store.
