The Italian city of Firenze has launched an open government data portal. Earlier this week we already reported the launch of the new regional portal for Emilia Romagna.

As with the Emilia-Romagna and Piemonte regional portal the data in the Firenze portal is licensed under Creative Commons BY (by attribution) which means data can be used for any purpose by anyone, as long as there is a reference to the source of the data. The url for the new portal is dati.comune.firenze.it.

With this new city portal the Italian open data momentum is growing more again.
