The Finnish guide "Public Data - an introduction to opening information resources" has been translated into English. The availability of this guide in English is hopefully of use to governments and public service bodies all over Europe who are taking first steps in making government held information and data resources available for use by the public.

The guide, published by the Ministry of Transport and Communication, and written by Antti Poikola (also part of the ePSIplatform team), Petri Kola, and Kari A. Hintikka, is available under a Creative Commons By Attribution license. This means you can use and re-use the work any way you like, on the condition of mentioning and crediting the original authors and publisher.
