FICOD 2010
The presentation of the International Forum of Digital Content, FICOD 2010, was announced at the auditorium of the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Information Society in Madrid on the 23rd June 2010.
It was announced that FICOD 2010 will take place in Madrid from the 16th to the 18th November 2010.
The General Invitation to the Public Enterprise Red.es for Contributors to provide content (Workshops, Debates, Presentations, Special Actions, etc) to the Fourth Edition of FICOD (FICOD 2010) (Procedimiento Convocatorias - Exp: C051/10-PP) closed on the 16th July 2010.
The report on FICOD 2009 has been published titled: Annual Report 09: You will be the First to Know the Latest (148 pages) provides a comprehensive overview of FICOD 2009. Pages 90 (text) and 91 (photographs) of the report present the O-GOV: Generating Value through reusing public sector information.
What is FICOD?
Fostered by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade together with the Secretary of State for Telecommunications, FICOD was set up in 2007. Its organisation was entrusted to Red.es and its mission, within the frame of the Avanza Plan, is to develop and strengthen the Spanish digital content industry, with special focus on Spanish speaking markets.
