Economics Festival 2010
The fifth Economic Festival will take place in Trento, Italy from the 3rd to 6th June 2010. The four days of meetings brings together economists, information operators, statisticians, academics, businessmen and public figures for debate. The debate will consider the relationship between data collection, production and dissemination of information and the choices that govern the way the information society and economy develop. There is no charge to enter the various meetings.
The programme includes a session titled: The value of public digital information that will take place at 1430 hours on the 6th June 2010. The announcement states:
“Recent technology makes it possible to make large quantities of public digitalised data accessible and easily exploitable. This is a precious resource for development of the area.
