Economic Indicators for measuring PSI re-use
During November 2009 the European Commission led PSI Group met to consider the way forward with respect to measuring the economic benefit obtained from re-using public sector information.
The PSI Group meeting agreed to establish six working groups of which four became active:
- Address Information
- Cadastral Information
- Meteorological Information
- Economic Case for Marginal Cast/Cost Recovery
The working groups were operational from the end of March 2010 through to the middle of May 2010.
The final reports on the deliberations of the working groups have now been published that summarise the key points and proposals made to the European Commission.
The working groups were a preparatory action to assist the European Commission that intends to commission one or more economic studies related to the re-use of public sector information in the autumn of 2010.
