DATEXII reports

The materials from the DATTEX2 User Forum meeting that took place in Berlin from 16th to the 17th March 2010 have been published. The summary of user feedback exercise that was held during the final plenary session of the Berlin 2010 User Forum has also been published. The DATEX Information platform provides support for software developers and traffic engineers.

The topics considered at the Berlin meeting included

  • Technical Session 1 - Theme 1: DATEX deployments – Best practice and lessons learned
  • Technical Session 1 - Theme 2: New data elements
  • Technical Session 2 - Theme 1: Datex standardization issue
  • Technical Session 2 - Theme 2: DATEX deployments – Best practice & lesson learned
  • Technical Session 3 - Theme 1: Location Referencing – what’s new?
  • Technical Session 3 - Theme 2: The urban, public transport and C2X domains
  • Technical Session 4 - Theme 1: DATEX –the roadmap to deployment
  • Technical Session 4 - Theme 2: DATEX user support & community

Technical Session 3 Theme 1 considered amongst other topics the INSPIRE Directive implications.

A number of European Member States public sector bodies involved in traffic management from France, Netherlands, Sweden, UK amongst others participated in the meeting.
