Click-Use licensing may go!
The UK Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) has published a topic on the PerSpsectIves blog titled: OPSI’s new licensing model – taking the licensing of government content to the next level. The topic sets out the proposed new licensing model that the OPSI is considering introducing and replacing the Click-Use-Licence that currently operates.
The OPSI invites all PSI stakeholders to consider the draft and to provide feedback and suggestions.
The publication of the OPSI’s intentions is yet another example of openness and transparency.
The OPSI Click-Use-License system provides valuable statistics – the OPSI proposal on the new licensing model provides a challenge as to how to measure the re-use of PSI.
