Brussels: 5 May 2010

On the eve of the first anniversary (15th May 2010) when Member States should have completed and notified the European Commission on the Member States transposition of the INSPIRE Directive 2007/2/EC the European Commission has published the latest decisions notices on the 5th May 2010 that shows three cases have been closed and one referred to the European Courts.

The European Commission has opened 23 cases with Member States of which 16 are still open and 7 have been closed and one referred to the European Court.
