On 22 November the Apps4Finland competition will announce this year's winners at the Apps4Finland Gala.

The Gala starts at 11:00 and ends at 19:30, and is preceded by four 2 hour long workshops.

The awards will be handed to the winners by the Finnish Minister of Culture, Paavo Arhinmäki.

• Anne Kauhanen-Simanainen, Ministry of Finance, on open data and public administration
• Ville Melon, project leader at Forum Virium, on Helsinki Region Infoshare
• Petri Kola, Helsinki Region Infoshare, on the state of play of open data in Finland
• Ton Zijlstra, Interdependent Thoughts, on the open data situation and plans in the EU
• Jann Kaijärvi, Sanoma publishers, on open data at Sanoma
