The third international ASEDIE conference on the re-use of government held data is taking place in Madrid on November 28th.

The event will be held in Spanish.

In the morning PSI re-use and data protection are the topic of discussion with speakers from the European Commission, Juan Pelegrin (PSI re-use) and Jose Manuel de Frutos (data protection), and Jorge Cancio, of the Ministry of Industry, Turism and Commerce.

The afternoon session looks at access to and re-use of geographic data, comparing the situation in the Americas (Santiago Borrero), the EU (Juan Pelegrin) and Spain (Sebastian Mas)
