27th Meeting of APPSI
The UK Advisory Panel on Public Sector Information (APPSI) has published the agenda, papers and presentations considered at the 27th meeting of APPSI that took place in London on the 22nd July 2010.
The topics considered included amongst others:
- Transparency and open data – including data.gov.uk
- Marine environmental data and information network (MEDIN)
- The upcoming review of the European Union Directive 2003/98/EC
- A report on PSI developments across Europe since the 26th Meeting of APPSI
- A report on PSI developments with Local Government

- The value of geospatial information in local public service delivery in England and Wales, published by the Local Government Association on the 9th July 2010 (8 pages, PDF format)
The 28th Meeting of APPSI is scheduled for the 16th September 2010.
