14th PSI Group announced
The European Commission has published the agenda for the 14th PSI Group meeting that will be held in Luxembourg on Thursday 27th January 2011.
The meeting will consider the following topics:
Review of the PSI Directive and other Commission activities
- Review of the PSI Directive: overview and calendar of work
- Results of the public on-line consultation on the PSI Directive
- Ongoing studies for the review of the PSI Directive: Economic studies and PSI and the cultural sector
PSI Developments in the Member States
- The re-use of PSI: the optimal pricing model
- National rules and policy following the PSI directive. From the transposition law to the adoption of Creative Commons: The Greek case
- Recent PSI re-use developments in the EU
PSI and the Digital Agenda for Europe
- Towards a standard agenda for PSI
- The Follow up to the PSI Platform project
The agenda indirectly announces amongst others:
- Personnel changes within the European Commission Information Society Directorate INFSO.E.4 Access to Information that is responsible for the Public Sector Information Re-use Directive 2003/98/EC (Farewell and thank you Mr Javier Hernandez-Ros who has moved to INFSO.E.3 Cultural Heritage and Technology Enhanced Learning. Welcome Mr Richard Swetenham)
