This state of play report is on recent PSI initiatives in Germany complementing Topic Report 11 on Germany. In 2010 concepts of open government and open data made it on to the political agenda in Germany. This conclusion is drawn from three major developments. As we reported earlier Zeit Online launched an open data weblog, giving a place to their data driven journalism. The Berlin newspaper Tageszeitung, short Taz, also opened up an open data weblog, reinforcing the momentum towards data-re-use in journalism.
