Which laws govern Open Data in my country?

Different laws influence Open Data issues, both on a national level, as well as in the form of European Directives. The main European Directive is the PSI Directive.

When will the decision on the new PSI Directive be made?

A new PSI Directive is currently being discussed. Likely early in 2013 a new PSI Directive will be adopted, with MS compliance by 2015.

How is open data valuable for transparency?
